Sharon Gertrude Heavrin

Sharon Gertrude Heavrin, 58, of New Albany, Indiana passed away May 12, 2021 at Norton Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 23, 1962 in Pike County, Kentucky to the late Donald Albert and Faye Quinn Grinar. She was a member of Charity Baptist Church in New Salisbury, Indiana where she was involved in SonShine Ladies and Charity Warriors and was also President of the New Albany Aglow Lighthouse. Sharon is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, Charles P. Heavrin; two daughters, Sharon Faye (Jonathan) Curtis and Tuwanta (Cory) Propes; grandchildren, Jacob, Eathan, Levi, Anthony, Makenzie, Cory Jr., Kavin, Sarah, Charles and Heavenly; siblings, Donald (Suzanne) Grinar, Sandy (Bobby) Martin, Douglas Grinar, Dennis (Debbie) Grinar, David Grinar, Shirley (Tom) Burk and Dean Grinar; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, May 17, 2021 and from 10:00 am to Noon on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral Service will be at Noon on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the funeral home.
