Shirley Fay Sutton

Shirley F. Sutton, age 83, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022. Shirley was born on September 13, 1938. She was married to the love of her life for 64 years, Donald Sutton- retired Sr. Master Sergeant.

Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time on the river, but her passion was being with her family. She was loved by all who knew her.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Donald Sutton; three children, Don Sutton Jr. (Stephanie), Sheldon L. Sutton (Missy), and Belinda Rohr (Dean); two sisters, Dorothy Dohoney and Diane Hare; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Hardesty Benson; siblings, Larry Benson, Ronnie Benson, Nancy Benson, and Brenda Terry.

A visitation for Shirley will be held Friday, June 17, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service 708 Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
