Susan enjoyed life to its fullest and at one point traveled the world. She also owned and operated a successful travel agency in Louisville, Kentucky.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Sis Lomax; and sister, Marina Kay Schindler.
She is survived by her faithful companions, her cats, Spooky Michelle and Precious, and her caretakers, David and Becky Balmer.
A visitation for Susan will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Atkins Chapel Cemetery, 7834 Atkins Road, Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
