Terry Ray King, 50, of Jackson, Michigan formerly of New Albany, Indiana passed away January 15, 2026, at the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor. He was born in Wahoo, Nebraska on February 25, 1975, to Jerry King and Deborah Wentworth. He was a Carpenter and jack of all trades. He was an avid pool player and was a University of Louisville basketball fan. Terry had a heart of gold and was always there to help others any way he could.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edna and James Hunt; an uncle, Mike A. Hunt; and aunt by marriage, Sally Hunt.
Terry is survived by his mother, Deborah Wentworth; a daughter, Emily King; a son, Nathaniel Shelton; siblings, Stacie Gordon (Joe) and Daniel King; Nathaniel’s mother, Kimberly Shelton. and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial Visitation will be held on January 31, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service, located at 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana, 47150. Following the visitation, a Memorial Service will take place at 4:00 pm.
