Thelma A. (Price) Phelps, 88 years of age passed away on September 21, 2021 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital. She was born on October 18, 1932 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Stephen and Margaret (Stofer) Price. Thelma was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary where she served as Past President, AARP, LIFT, Silvertoner, and TOPS IN1204. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul G. Phelps; daughters, Angela White, Pat Denkler; daughter-in-law, Theresa Bledsoe; brothers, Jack Price, Steve Price, and Donnie Price.
Survivors include her children, George Bledsoe (Mary), Mary Holz, Tom Bledsoe (Cheri), Theresa Simmons (Ernie), Jennifer Bledsoe (Dave Toma); siblings, Margie Dischinger, Jim Price, Michael Price, Maurice Price; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Her funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the funeral home chapel with a burial at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky at a later date.
