Born on March 6, 1955, in Borden, Indiana, Tim was the beloved son of the late Mason and Betty Thomas. A proud Marine, he honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1974 to 1976.
Tim is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Karen (Smith) Thomas; his sons, Michael Thomas (Ashley) and Ryan Thomas (Jessica); his cherished granddaughters, Claire and Evelyn; and his loving siblings, Richard Thomas and Carla Akers.
Tim’s life was marked by his deep love for family, strong work ethic, and genuine kindness. He will be remembered for his integrity, generosity, and unwavering commitment to those he loved.
A private family service will be held to celebrate his life at Kraft Funeral Home in New Albany, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a veterans’ charity of your choice in Tim’s honor.
