Tracy Lynn Shoots

Tracy Lynn Shoots, age 53, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. She was born on May 1, 1972, in New Albany, Indiana, to Granville Shoots Jr. and the late Mary Ann Elizabeth (Larner) Shoots. Tracy was proud of her professional life and enjoyed being a commercial painter. She loved to have fun and to spend time fishing, riding motorcycles, singing karaoke, dancing, and especially caring for her four dogs: Harley, Ruger, Onyx, and Rylee.

Tracy was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Elizabeth Shoots.

Tracy is survived by her wife of 11 years and partner in life for the last 23 years, Stephanie (Lopp) Shoots; her loving children, Kirstie Adanick and Ryan Berte; her step-children, Andrew Hurd, Richmond "Rich" Lopp, and Christin Hurd; her sister, Jamie (James) Sattler; niece, Taylor Sattler; grandmother, Norma Smith; father, Granville (Rhonda) Shoots Jr.; step-grandchildren, Roz, Michaela, Amy, and Nevaeh.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Harry's Tap House, in the back room, at 130 W. Riverside Drive, Jeffersonville, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on May 18th, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please donate to the New Albany animal shelter in honor of Tracy.
