William "Bill" L. Morgan

William "Bill" L. Morgan, age 74, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Bill was born in New Albany, Indiana on September 15,1950, to William A. Morgan and JoAnn (Brock) Morgan. Bill was a member of the Clarksville High School class of 1968. He married the love of his life, Claudia Foster, in Clarksville, Indiana on November 21, 1970. Bill was a proud employee and retiree of Bell South in Louisville, Kentucky. He was an avid Indiana University and Houston Astros fan, Bill loved sports in general, mainly Bobby Knight basketball. Bill loved being called "Granddad" and spending time with his family.

William is preceded in death by his father, William A. Morgan; and his sister, Marcie Plue.

William is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Claudia (Foster) Morgan; his loving mother, JoAnn "Granny" Morgan; his daughters, Melissa (Lloyd) Groves and Jody Morgan; his grandsons, Ryan Groves, Cameron Groves, Billy Groves, Clifford Groves, and Sam Morgan; one great granddaughter, and his three loving sisters, Mary Lynn Morgan, Susan (Gary) Morgan Hug, and Linda Morgan; and many extended family and friends.

A Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

His Funeral Service will be held at Kraft Funeral Service on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Bill will be laid to rest at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
