

Angelina J. Robillard, of New Bedford, MA, affectionately known as Angie, passed away on May 10, 2025 surrounded by family after a brief illness at the age of 90. Born on May 1, 1935, Angie was the beloved daughter of the late Silva and Angelina (Vallee) Davignon. She is predeceased by her husband, Walter J. Robillard.
Angie was a graduate of St. Anthony High School, class of 1953. She dedicated her career to the local textile industry, working diligently as a stitcher. She would later enjoy applying her talents in support of family including hemming pants, countless alterations, and creating Halloween costumes.
Angie was a devoted family woman, survived by her three daughters: Suzanne Laplante and her husband Marc, Dianne Robillard, and Michelle Robillard. She was a loving sister to Laurette Beals and was predeceased by her siblings Irene, Evelyn, Doris, Alfred, Leo, Yvonne, Rene, Raymond, and Roger. Angie was cherished by her five grandchildren: Leah Chasse, Benjamin Laplante, Erin Vautour, Keegan Byrnes, and Molly Nobrega and her husband Patrick. Her legacy extends to her seven great-grandchildren: Hollis, Rosalie, Danielle, Walter, Jaxon, Emory, and Abigail. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Angie found joy in gardening, cooking, and reading outside on her porch and swing. She treasured the moments spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A woman of faith, she was a former parishioner of St. Joseph-St. Therese Church and attended daily Mass at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish where she would frequently walk to and from services.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 4-7pm at Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 9am from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10am in St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, 343 Tarkiln Hill Rd., New Bedford.
