Born in Boston, a daughter of the late John W. and Anna (Barry) Dunn, she had resided in Centerville for many years before moving to Dartmouth.
Mrs. Stone was a very active member of Our Lady of Victory Parish in Centerville and a member of the Ladies Guild and Bridge Club.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Judith Stone of New Bedford; her grandchildren, Sara Hickman and her husband Joshua of Long Beach, CA and Jared Stone of New Bedford; and her niece, Claire Toomey of Dartmouth. She was the mother of the late Bruce Stone.
