

Arthur A. Boudreau, 82, of New Bedford, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital unexpectedly. He was the longtime companion of Pauline Almeida of New Bedford and former husband of the late Marianna Boudreau.
Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Louis E. and Jeannette (Gladu) Boudreau, he lived most of his life in New Bedford and spent 8 years in North Fort Myers, FL.
Mr. Boudreau had a successful career as a Barber for 52 years and owned the Colonial Style Shop for Men in New Bedford.
He was a member of the North End Business Association, the Knights of Columbus, the St. Vincent de Paul Society and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
Arthur was a very caring and generous person who enjoyed the company of his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his companion are three sons, Arthur N. “Artie” Boudreau and his companion Teri Melo of Fairhaven, Thomas A. Boudreau and his fiancé Michelle Adams of Acushnet and Paul L. “Pudge” Boudreau and his wife Pamela of New Bedford; his siblings, Phyllis Frazier and her husband Ronald of FL, Paul Boudreau and his wife Dorothy of NJ and Mary Lou Bowen and her husband Dennis of New Bedford; four grandchildren, Chad, Ryan, Adam and Thomas Boudreau; Pauline’s daughter, Cathy Almeida of NJ; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Theresa Costodio and her late husband Jack and Carole Forsythe and her late husband Marvin.
His Funeral will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 8:30 AM from the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in St. Mary’s Church, 343 Tarkiln Hill Rd., New Bedford. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o St. Mary’s Church, 106 Illinois St., New Bedford, MA 02745.
