Arthur R. Morris, 94, of Acushnet, passed away peacefully at home on May 7. Husband of the late Amy (Coldwell) Morris, brother of the late Edward and Raymond, companion of the late Nancy Hatch. Parents Edward and Maria Morris, Arthur was a lifelong resident of Acushnet.
He was proud to serve his country during World War II in the Battle of the Bulge. He was the recipient of the Bronze Star. Arthur was employed by the Acushnet School Department until his retirement in 1986. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved to be with his friends at the VFW and American Legion. He will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews, his caregivers Tom and Anne Fortin and Anne Camara.
