Bernard A. Desrosiers

Bernard A. Desrosiers, 90, of Fairhaven, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025 at the Oaks Nursing Home of New Bedford. He was the beloved husband of Annette (Hubert) Desrosiers. They had been married for 71 years.

Born in New Bedford, son of the late Alphonse and Martha (Dallaire) Desrosiers and sister Violette Digget. He was a lifelong resident of both New Bedford and Fairhaven. Mr. Desrosiers was a member of the Long Plain Baptist Church of Acushnet, MA.

Mr. Desrosiers was a member of the Teamsters Union and worked 31 years as a truck driver/salesman for Coyne Laundry before retiring in 1995. He loved to compete in many sports but tennis was his favorite.

He is survived by his children, Violette Bobola and her husband Ronald of Lakeville, Celeste Girczyc and her husband Stanley of Cumberland RI, Bernard Desrosiers and his wife Debbie of Lakeville, Robert Desrosiers and his wife Lisa of Hollywood Fl, James Desrosiers of Fairhaven, his niece Pamela Foye, and a great niece Megan Foye both of Marblehead MA. He also has 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 8:00-9:30 am with a Funeral Service beginning at 9:30 am in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford. Burial will follow in Acushnet Cemetery.
