Diane Laura Letourneau

Born in New Bedford to Albert and Thelma (Macomber) Martin, she grew up in Acushnet and lived the rest of her life in New Bedford.

She was the widow of the late Roger P. Letourneau.

Diane enjoyed spending time with her family during the holidays, hosting bingo at her building complex and devoting her time to her church.

She was a professed member of the Franciscan Tertiaries of the Immaculate and assisted with the Day With Mary Apostolate.

Survivors include her 3 daughters, Susan Letourneau of New Bedford, Paulette Carreiro-Wood and her wife Heather of North Providence, RI and Kristine Herrera and her wife Stacie of Lilburn, GA.; Diane had 6 grandchildren, Britny Costa, Fredrick Costa and Joshua Carreiro all of New Bedford, Samuel Ortiz and his wife Bri of Spartanburg, SC, Paul Love and his wife Morgan of Chesnee, SC and Victoria Holeman of Reno, NV.; Diane also had 2 great-grandchildren Alaya and Kriztian Ortiz of Spartanburg, SC.

Diane is also survived by her siblings Albert Martin and his wife Margarete of Fairhaven and Richard Martin of Fall River, Linda Tyler of Pine Bush, NY, Gail Gosselin and Joann Martin both of Old Town, FL, and Kim Hileman and her husband Charles of North Port, FL.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late David Martin, Rita Ann Augustine, Carol Costa-Crowell, Kathleen Souza, Robin Lefevre and her twin sister Darlene Martin.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00PM in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA 02745. Relatives and friends are invited.
