Born New Bedford, the daughter of the late Antonio and Stella (Metsakow) Katsoules, she was a lifelong New Bedford resident. Prior to her retirement she was employed at the March of Dimes in the fund raising department and also Freddie Dee’s as a clerk. Barbara enjoyed her family, going to the casinos and traveling and was also involved the Greek Women’s Organization.
She is survived by her niece, Antonia “Bunny” Katsoules of Acushnet; two great nieces Lisa Eusebio of Lakeville and Angela Boudreau of Acushnet; and a very dear friend Karen Connolly of Acushnet.
