Frank Moniz Jr.

Born in New Bedford, son of the late Frank Moniz, Sr. and Rose Moniz, he had resided in Dartmouth before moving to W. Wareham 7 years ago.

Mr. Moniz served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He had worked as a lead security guard at Polaroid for 32 years until his retirement.

In his leisure time, he constructed battleship models.

Surviving in addition to his wife Pauline are his children, Mark Moniz and his companion Deb of Wareham, Ricky Laberge and his wife Carolyn of Florida, Richard Moniz and his wife Deb Hartley M.D. of Acushnet, Karen Ferraro and her husband John of N. Providence and Kevin Moniz and his wife of Florida; his grandchildren, Christopher, Jason, Ryan, Candice, Shalean, Jason, D.J., Clifford, Jeffrey, Nicholas and Alex; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Manny Moniz.

His funeral services will be private.
