Born in Arnold, PA, a son of the late George and Maud (McGee) Richards, he grew up there before coming to the area.
Mr. Richards graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and went on to the University of Chicago where he received his Master’s in Business Administration.
George enjoyed sailing, mechanics, reading, jazz music and working.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Emily Richards of CA and an extensive family in the mid-west.
