Jeannette E. Pepin

Jeannette E. (Blouin) Pepin, 94, of New Bedford passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016 after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of the late Albert P. Pepin with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Joseph and Evelina (Davignon) Blouin she was a lifelong area resident. She was communicant of St. Mary’s Church, New Bedford for 58 years.

Mrs. Pepin was a graduate of both Fairhaven High School and Kinyon-Campbell Business School. Along with her husband, she was the co-worker as well as the bookkeeper for their business, Pepin’s Men’s Apparel. Jeannette devoted her life to caring for her husband, raising her children and spoiling her grandsons.

She is survived by three of her four children, Jeanne Y. Pepin of New Bedford, Ronald A. Pepin and his wife Catherine of New Hope, PA, Gerald N. Pepin and his wife Maureen of New Bedford. She was the mother of the late David Pepin.

She is also survived by, five grandsons, Jonathan, Steven, Marc, David, and Jason. Also surviving, a brother, Roland E. Blouin and his wife Leona of Fairhaven and a sister-in-law, Doris McGann of OK; She was the sister of the late Jules, Normand, and Albert Blouin.

Her family would like to thank her friends and caregivers from Care with Love for their wonderful care, companionship and support to both their mother and the family.
