Born in Sao Roque Ponta Delgada, he was the son of the late Jorge and Maria (Travassos) Medeiros. He worked in construction for 35 years. He was a very hard worker, loving father and wonderful grandfather. One of his favorite things to do was watch television, specifically UFC, soccer, Storage Wars and Pawn Stars.
He is survived by his daughter Deidre Monize and her husband Scott of Fairhaven; two sisters, his twin Maria Oliveira and her husband Antonio and Agatha Martin; two brothers Frank and Valdemar Medeiros; two grandchildren Yvonne Pereira and Logan Monize; and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Victoria Ann Medeiros.
A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church in Fairhaven. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
