Kimbley A. Macey

Kimbley A. Macey, 63, of New Bedford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a period of declining health. She was the loving partner of Kenneth Kenyon with whom she shared 20 years.

Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Gladys (Barlow) Macey.

Kimbley was a graduate of New Bedford High School and worked for many years as a Bookkeeper for Fairhaven Hardware. She enjoyed being on the beach, camping at Maple Park, listening to music and dancing with her friends. She brought mischief and fun wherever she went. Kim was an avid event organizer and it brought her great joy to host annual events including St. Patrick’s Day and New Year’s Eve. She was loving, kind, loved to laugh and have fun. Her infectious smile will be deeply missed by many. She loved spending time with her family the most, especially with her biggest pride and joy, her only son Daniel.

Survivors include her companion, Kenneth; her loving son, Daniel Fournier and his girlfriend Victoria Aldrich of New Bedford; her sisters, Colleen Goulart and her husband Brian of Rochester, and Cynthia Renaud of Acushnet; nephews, Bryan Galipeau, Derek Machado, James Machado, Aaron Renaud; niece, Katherine Williams; and many great-nephews and a great-niece. She is predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Galipeau.
