Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Joseph and Antonia (Bilodeau) Berube, she was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Dupont had worked as a quality control inspector at the Acushnet Company Rubber Division until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Joseph-St. Therese Church.
Lucille enjoyed dancing and the company of family and friends.
She is survived by her nephew, Russell D. Lopes and his wife Marcelle of New Bedford and her great nephew, Marc Lopes of New Bedford and his girlfriend Jennifer Becherer of CA. She was predeceased by her siblings, Romeo Berube, Leopold Berube and Lillian Lopes.
