Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late George and Amelia (Vieira) Beaudoin she was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Motta worked as a cafeteria worker for the New Bedford Schools for 27 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Tammy Araujo and her husband Norman of Fairhaven, Jeff Moniz and his wife Dawn of Lunenburg, and Randall Motta and his wife Joanne of New Bedford; and a brother, Robert Beaudoin. She was the sister of the late Gerald Beaudoin.
