

Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Malcolm and Ida (Lessard) Tremblay, he had been a lifelong resident of New Bedford.
Mr. Tremblay worked as a Cable Splicer at the former New England Telephone which later became Nynex for many years before retiring in 1985. A former member of the Moose Lodge, he enjoyed cooking, gardening, and playing guitar especially country western music.
He is survived by two daughters; Joan Robertson and her husband Russell of North Fort Myers, FL, Sharon Buckley of New Bedford, one son: Robert Tremblay of Kissimmee, FL; six grandchildren: Jarret Ferreira, David Raulet, Albert McCartney, David and Michael, and Lucy Landreth; two great-grandchildren: Ashley and Craig Raulet. He was father of the late Sandra Tremblay, Janet Ferreira, and Richard Tremblay and brother of the late Aldea Connor, Albert and George Tremblay.
