Rodney N. DeMoranville Jr.

Born in Taunton, son of Rodney N. DeMoranville, Sr. and Barbara (Cornell) DeMoranville, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.

He enjoyed working outdoors, wood cutting, cooking and playing horseshoes and billiards.

His family includes his wife, Catherine A. (McAlpine) DeMoranville; one daughter, Crystal DeMoranville; two sons, Rodney N. DeMoranville III and Paul J. DeMoranville and wife Bonnie all of New Bedford; one brother, Harvey DeMoranville and wife Connie Mae; one sister, Patty Gosson and husband Arnie all of Florida; six grandchildren, David Brumley and wife Caitlyn of New Bedford, Shane Brumley of Fort Stewart, GA, Tara Miller and husband Nicholas, James Brumley and Paul J. Brumley, Jr. all of New Bedford and Randall; two great-grandchildren, Ember and Isabel Ann Brumley; and many nieces and nephews. He was the great-grandfather of the late Gabriel M. Brumley.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, July 18, 2014 from 5-8pm at the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
