Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Eugene and Regina (Beaudoin) Piche he was a lifelong area resident and a communicant of St. Mary's Church, New Bedford.
Roger served during World War II in N. Africa, Italy, and Sicily under General George Patton’s Tank Battalion. He later worked for the State of Massachusetts for 20 years and 10 years for the City of New Bedford until his retirement.
He is survived two sons, Robert Piche of Acushnet and Steve Piche of New Bedford; a sister, Theresa Almeida of Dartmouth; two grandchildren, Allysa Hopkins of GA and Emilie Piche of Acushnet; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Germaine and Gerald Piche.
