Sherry Lynn Lund

Sherry Lynn (Sylvia) Lund, 55, of New Bedford, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 following a long courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Charles F. Lund, Jr. with whom she shared 31 years together, married for 22 years.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Robert J. and Patricia (Allison) Sylvia, she lived in Arizona for a few years before returning and settling in New Bedford.

She had worked in the food service industry throughout the years and most recently worked as a Supervisor at Friendly’s Restaurant.

Sherry Lynn enjoyed NASCAR, word search and crossword puzzles. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her loving family whom she adored. Sherry Lynn will be greatly missed.

Surviving in addition to her husband, a son, Charles F. Lund, III and his girlfriend Lailani Ruiz; a daughter, Joanna Lund and her fiancé Michael Shartrand; a son, Matthew Lund; two brothers, Craig Sylvia and his partner Mike Ashley and Lance Sylvia and his wife Patricia Hillman Sylvia; and two grandchildren, Paislee and Aundrea; and her best friend Suzanna Leandre.
