Susan was a graduate of Fairhaven High School, received an Associate Degree in Human Services from Bristol Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Social Service from UMASS-Dartmouth and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services with a focus in Counseling from Lesley University.
She was a case manager at several local human service agencies. Susan supported with roles including caseworker, counselor, mentor and advocate for those in crisis. She enjoyed camping, gardening, sitting on the beach, spending time with family and her beloved pets. She was an Aids advocate and supported as an A.I.D.S. board member for some time.
Survivors include two daughters; Jodi DeCampos and her husband David Olson, Jr., and Carrie Arruda all of Dudley, MA, one son; Robert DeCampos of Dartmouth, three sisters; Gloria Jean Roy and her husband Normand R. Lafond of Woonsocket, RI, Patricia A. Ladeira and her husband Richard and Dianne R. Smith all of Beaumont, CA.
