Yvette Boyer

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Antonio and Cora (Mailhot) Loranger she lived in New Bedford for many years until moving to Old Saybrook, CT.

Yvette was a graduate of Holy Family High School Class of 1947. She worked at Champegny's Shoes as a sales manager until her retirement in 1991. She was an auxiliary member of the 6th Bristol Club, a member of the Red Hat Society in Florida and she enjoyed scrapbooking, ceramics and loved to take walks.

Survivors in addition to her husband are her children, Marc Boyer and his wife Robin of Acworth, GA; Jeanne Boyer Roy and her husband Charles of Essex, CT; 4 grandchildren, Alex Roy, Alison Boyer, Nathan Roy, Kailey Boyer and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 9am at Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 am at St. Joseph-St. Therese Church, Acushnet Ave, New Bedford. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery- Bourne. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the 7th Floor Hospice Unit at Middlesex Hospital, 27 Crescent Street, Middletown, CT 06457.
