Alton Patrick Waring Jr., 76, of New Bern, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, with his loving family by his side. Alton was born on January 28, 1946, to the late Alton Sr. and Alice Waring.
He is survived by his children; Jennifer Lessner, David Waring, and Jacqueline Waring-Smith and his grandchildren Conor and Aoidhan Healy.
Alton is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Carol Melega-Waring.
