Barbara “Bobbie” Wells Allred, 77 of New Bern, died October 3, 2011 at Cherry Point Bay Nursing and Rehab Center. Bobbie volunteered at the Cherry Point Pharmacy. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis G. Allred and a brother, James Wells. She is survived by her daughter, Gale Allred Bartley of New Bern; three sisters, Linda Chappell Thompson and husband Keith of Burlington, NC; Nancy Chappell Rinderknecht of Phoenix, AZ; Susan Chappell Johnston and husband Tommy of Rogers, AK; one brother, Charles Wells and wife Nancy of Nicholasville, KY; one granddaughter, Carrie Lynn Willits , and two great-grandchildren, Brenna Reese Shade and Tatum Avery Shade, all of Allenwood, PA.
