Betty Lee Burleson

Betty attended Owen High where she was a majorette, part of the chorus, and a member of the Future Homemakers of America. She also sang with a group that included her sister, Joann in school. She was known to be very outgoing and a prankster. She graduated high school in 1957. Betty worked at Kearfott Corporation until she became unable to work due to a major stroke. Betty’s smile and laugh was very contagious. She loved the Lord and always prayed for her family. Betty will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Betty was a beloved mother and is survived by her children, Tony (Cheryl) Burleson, Brenda (Danny) Shook, Jennie Bost, Tammy (Terry) Hensley and Tim (Nadine) Burleson; grandmother to Sabrina, Jennifer, Erika, Dustin, Grant, Chloe and Kaden; and great grandmother, Jeremiah, Mason Mia, Emma, Sadie, Julianna, Isla, and Evie.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Burleson; parents, Terell and Lucille Creasman; sister, Joann Astley; brother, Arnold Creasman; and granddaughter, Christina Lee.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
