

Bruno was born January 10, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois. Predeceased by his parents and eight siblings, he will be remembered by his nieces, Diane Yoder of Gray's Lake, IL and Anne Randolph Carter of Greensboro, NC, as well as his many friends.
Bruno attended the University of Chicago and embarked on a career in the life insurance field. He was employed by Fireman's Fund and American Express, in their "Life" companies.
Moving to San Francisco in the early 70's, he became a follower of professional football, especially the 49'ers. The San Francisco opera afforded him many hours of pleasure as well as the wine region nearby.
Bruno collected an extensive library of musical recordings and unique and diverse novels. He also relished the challenge of a difficult crossword puzzle, completing two per day.
A memorial service will be conducted by the Reverend Susan Pate Greenwood on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Centenary United Methodist Church.
