Carol Gwin Langdon, 82, of New Bern, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, August 28, 2023, as she was surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born April 4, 1941, to the late William and Martha Gwin.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Collins; grandson, Kendall Langdon; brother, Billy Gwin; and several nieces and nephews.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Lacy F. Langdon, Sr; son, Lacy F. Langdon, Jr; and brother, Don Gwin.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Cotten Funeral Home. A celebration of life will begin at 11:00 am. Following the service, Carol will be taken to Devotional Gardens Cemetery in Dunn, NC where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Lacy Langdon, Sr.
