Charles Thomas Bodo

Charles "Charlie" Thomas Bodo, 59, of New Bern, passed away while surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 9, 2022. Charlie was a strong presence and enjoyed nothing more than being with his beautiful wife. He was a proud professional driver and in his free time enjoyed working on and fixing up cars with a knack of diagnosing by ear. He is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Cheryl Bodo; son, Tom Bodo and wife Zoe Sasson; daughter, Caity Bodo and husband TJ Everhart; siblings Cherry Farley, Eric Bodo, Barbara Bodo, Steve Bodo, Chris Bodo; and many loving family members and close friends. Charlie is preceded in death by his mother and father, Bonita "Bonnie" Bodo and Charles "Chuck" Bodo. A Celebration of Charlie's Life will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Temple Church. Friends and Family are welcomed at 2:30 PM for visitation prior to the service.
