Dana’s motto in life was truthfulness, honesty, treating everyone fairly and he had a love for family, especially being a Dad. He always looked forward to the Rice Family Christmas Traditions. He spoke often of “his guys” at Hatteras Yachts and found a new home at Craven County Health Department.
He is predeceased in death by his parents Phillip & Audrey Rice, brothers Noah “Shorty” Rice and Mike Rice.
Survivors, his soulmate of 20 years, Mandy Sanders, 2 sons, Brandon Rice & wife Brittany and Tyler Rice. Brother, Dal Rice & wife Ada, grandchild, Parker Rice and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Saints Delight OFW Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Williams at 2PM. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Cotten Funeral Home from 6-8PM.
