Charlotte Eileen Morris

Charlotte Eileen Morris, age 87, of New Bern, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Charlotte was born January 4, 1935 in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania to the late Claude and Olive Ward. Charlotte loved to sew and teach people. She had a kind heart and a willingness to serve. She was a longtime member of Centenary United Methodist Church. She volunteered her time at CarolinaEast Medical Center, as well as, Centenary UMC. Charlotte served her community as a banker for over 40 years. When she retired she settled in the Fairfield Harbour Community of New Bern. She stayed active in the community as an exercise instructor at the community pool. Charlotte was a loving mother with a good loving family. She will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know her. She is survived by her son, Ken Morris and sister, Betty Jean. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Morris and daughter, Kathy Parke.
