When I think of Christal, my mind goes back to gym class at WCMS and the confidence that Christal had which I admired so.  It's been so many years now, but those memories of that soul remain strong.  Last time I saw Christal was at a pharmacy in New Bern with one of her girls.  We sat in the waiting room and caught up while we waited.  I am blessed with the memory of that conversation now that such pain is visiting your family.  May your memories bring you comfort, may her spirit find peace, may her girls grow up with the memories you'll build for them of the person their mother was.  My heart goes out to you.

Debbie  I failed to sign my message to you and your family on Sept 30...  I needed you to know I am praying for ya'll during this tragic time.  The slideshow of pictures were so beautiful. Even though the years have passed and our friendship had faded, my memories of Christal are still bright in my mind. She was one of the very first people I met after moving to New Bern. We became instant friends and I had some of my best high school memories with her.  She came to visit me back in Florida on several occasions. Her amazing smile, her infectious laugh and her caring soul will be treasured in my mind forever. Wishing you all peace and blessings during this difficult time. I will miss you my friend ~ may you protect and look over us.

She had the best personality- so full of life, and she always made me laugh! I know she struggled in this life, but she is free now. Those chains are gone!
