She will be remembered as a loving and generous mother and grandmother.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Mary Griffin, and her brother, Alton "Al Jr." Griffin.
She is survived by her "Clyde," Lonnie Toler; three sons, Lonnie Griffin, Albert "Buddy" Martin (Velma), and Billy Toler; two daughters, Mary Hopkins (Ed) and Joy Toler (Hank); one sister, Faith Robertson (Willie); sister-in-law, Lynda Griffin; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Cotten Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at Sandhill Cemetery in Reelsboro.
