When i was very little i think almost every single day i used to call mrs clara and ask her to talk to my best friend abby. Her granddaughter. I grew up with this family and although I don’t feel it’s my place to say i felt apart of it but i definitely always tried to be by their side i loved seeing and hearing about mrs clara and mr kenny. I enjoyed seeing them when i could and i hope they could say the same i’m so extremely sad to say that i won’t be able to see her again although i was not immensely close to her she was an amazing woman. Whenever i think i’m going through a hard situation i think of mrs clara and the kornegay family and how so very strong they have always been and i send out every single thought and pray i can possibly muster to this family. i love you guys so much and you have always been a second family to me and my family, me, and aunt kelly especially  we will always be beside you no matter what happens. 

Mrs Clare was my example of how a mother should be. She treated my like family. I love the family. I will miss her. Prayers for the Kornegay family.

It is with a heavy heart that I send you my love and pray for comfort for each of you. I'm so thankful for the hope we have in Christ that we will one day see her again, as she waits with our Savior. May His strength and grace sustain you. Love you all,  Amanda Jenkins
