She is survived by her loving husband, Brian Preston Newton; children, Ronnie Wheeler, Phillip Ayers, Jesse Wheeler, and Noah Wheeler; grandchildren, Tamaryn Ayers and Lyric Ayers; mother, Dorothy Ann Sullivan; sister, Rhonda Faye Wilson; and many loving family and close friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, William Bud Sullivan; and brothers, Jackie Wayne Wilson, Carl Sullivan, and Allen Sullivan.
There will be a celebration of life for Connie on Saturday, June 25, 1:30 PM at Beach Grove United Methodist Church, 1037 Washington Post Rd., New Bern, NC 28562.
