Cornelius and Danielle Pierce

Cornelius and Danielle Pierce were members of Annunciation Catholic Church, where Cornelius was part of the Knights of Columbus and an usher. Cornelius retired from the United States Marine Corps after 26 years and was a Crypto Analyst. Danielle was a nurse, drug and alcohol counselor and creative artist who loved to cook and keep a beautiful home. Mostly Danielle and Cory were parents to seven children.

Cornelius is preceded in death by his parents Cornelius Henry and Winifred Pierce and his sister Elizabeth Anne of Larchmont, New York.

Danielle is preceded in death by her Parents Daniel and Grace Crowley of Havelock, NC and her sister Katherine Tracey.

They are both survived by four sons, Cornelius Pierce of New London, Ct, Matthew Pierce of Slidell, LA, Daniel Pierce of New London, CT, Martin Pierce of Austin, TX and three daughters Sarah Dion of Brawley, CA, Rebecca Cook of Broomfield, CO and Megan Fordice of San Diego, CA; Grandchildren Grace and Caitlin Dion, Enna and Maeve Pierce, Orrin Pierce, Nathan, Sophia, and Matthew Pierce, Holland, Keiffer and Daniel Pierce, Ella and Henry Cook.

A dual funeral mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in New Bern. Interment will follow at St. Joseph cemetery with full military honors for Mr. Pierce.
