David Pearson Bascom Jr.

He was born July 1, 1945, in Rochester, NY, to the late David and Helen Bascom. Up until 2006, he lived in Canandaigua, NY with his wife of 41 years, Kathryn. During his career, he was employed in the banking profession and also served as financial controller for privately-held companies in the manufacturing and trade exhibit business.

He will be greatly missed by his wife and best friend, Kathy, his sisters, Barbara Buss and Linda Clark, as well as his brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, Richard and Judy Benim, Dan and Nina Benim, Joe and Lori Benim, and Matt Benim, and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass, concelebrated by Father Thomas Tully and Father William Upah, will be celebrated on Monday, March 11, 2019, at 3 PM, at Saint Paul Catholic Church in New Bern followed by a reception in the church atrium. Burial will be private.
