David Glenn Evans

He is preceded in death by his parents Milton and Bessie Evans, brothers; Milton “Pete” Jasper Evans Jr., Tommy Evans, and sister, Susan Evans.

David is survived by his son, Joshua Evans of New Bern, daughters; Rebecca Webster (Brent) of Fredericksburg, VA, Emily Evans of New Bern, grandchildren, Laurel Webster, Eric Webster, and David Jasper Evans, and his faithful companion Nakoma.

He was a member of Spring Garden Baptist Church. By trade David worked as a welder, a carpenter, and general constructions. In his free time he was a motorcycle enthusiast, which he enjoyed contributing to charitable rides and causes. He also loved to hunt, fish, and do mechanic work. He was a big Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panther fan. David will be remembered as having a generous soul, he was always offering of himself to assist others. David was family oriented and a father figure to many, he was always happy to take in those in need of his help.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am-11:00am at Spring Garden Baptist Church on Friday January 7, 2022. A funeral Service will begin at 11:00am of Friday, January, 7, 2022 at Spring Garden Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Greenleaf Memorial Park.
