Wolf was born November 21, 1956 at Camp LeJeune, NC. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider and a past member of a motorcycle club of Onslow County. He loved nothing more than taking an old bike and making her purr like a Wolf. His pride and joy was the 1997 Softtail Harley he was riding when a car pulled out into his path and took his life on that bright sunny Friday morning. He left this world doing what he loved but oh much too soon.
To his friends he was Wolf, a giant of a man, and a man who made things happen and got results. To his family he was soft spoken, quiet and humble. He was a strong family protector and we will miss him greatly. His eyes were dark brown just like his mother who he dearly loved. His smile was a gentle one that would make all around him smile. He also loved working with his hands and was a welder by trade. He worked for the Marine Corps Community Services at the Hobby Shop on Camp LeJeune. He was confederate to the core and a lover of history, family and military.
He is preceded in death by his mother Ruby Haddock Simmons and son Levi Glen Summerlin.
He leaves behind his longtime girlfriend Kimberly McKillop of Jacksonville; brother David Medford and wife Donna of New Bern; brother John Medford and wife Laura of Carteret County; and a host of lifelong friends which include “Red” of Jacksonville, NC.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Cotten Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday, September 11, 2015. Burial will be at Greenleaf Memorial Park in New Bern.
