Mrs. Maple was my Psychology teacher at Williamston High School, class of 85. Even though we aggrevated her, it wasn't because we didn't like her, but because we loved her. She was a wonderful teacher to everyone and I will always remember her spirit.

I was sorry to hear about the loss of Dottie. I remember her fondly from teaching with her on the staff at Williamston High School. And of course, I remember her from her work with the local community theater. When I think of Dottie, I think of her smile and twinkling eyes. May she rest in peace. And may her family be comforted.

  We remember Dottie from our days with the CGAux and all the enjoyable times we shared at flotilla meetings, dinners and 5th District Board meetings. She was a good-natured and kind lady, and we know she'll be missed by all who loved her. Our condolences, Nickie & Bill Henson

I am so sorry to hear this. Mrs. Maple was one of my favorite teachers.  TR Miller was lucky to have her.

Thinking about all of those who were touched by Ms. Dottie. I enjoyed her visits to Louisville and will miss her smiles and wonderful "accent." Our love to all.

Ms. Dottie was a wonderful neighbor.  I enjoyed my visits with her, she always shared news and photos of all the family.  I admired her as she would slowly make her way down the driveway, walker in tow , to retrieve the mail (she was determined to keep moving).  Her kindness and wit will always be remembered.  We will miss her.  May God Bless each of her family members.

All of us in the extended Brinson family will miss Aunt Dottie so much.   A great sense of humor and a real zest for life come to mind when remembering her and our family has suffered a great loss with her passing.   For those of us that only got to see her at Poppa's Palace in recent years we will remember her wonderful laugh, quick wit, and happy presence seasoned with her Southern roots and sassy style.
Aunt Dottie will be greatly missed, and our thoughts and prayers go out to all the Maple Family.

Betty, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family. I will always remember your mother's smile and how much I loved her classes. We always had a good time when we were at the Maple house.

Heaven welcomed an angel Tuesday! Ms. Dottie, I will remember you by your courage, grace, your great love of family and endless sense of humor. You will be greatly missed.

Dear Ms. Dottie went to the YMCA for years and all of us that enjoyed her remember her with love. I know her family was exxtremely close to her family and she'll be missed, I'm sure.

Bob, I will surely miss her smile and good humor, not to mention her coconut cake!!  I always enjoyed her company and her wit!

I have so many memories of Mrs. Maple. Miss Dottie was such a blessing as a teacher.  Very animated, she brought a wonderful enthusiasm to her classroom that I shall never forget. As Betty's mom, Miss Dottie was a welcoming nurturer to all of us who wandered in and out of the house in Brewton. She was so tolerant of our antics! It makes me smile to remember images of Miss Dottie walking here or there with "Louise" at her feet. Thank you, Mrs. Maple, for teaching us, and for opening your heart and home to us. My deepest condolences. The Maple family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Love you Aunt Dottie. May you rest comfortably now with those others we have also loved and lost. Know that we will always keep you in our hearts and cherish our memories of our time with you. Uncle Bob, Mary, Bobby and Betty I can only hope that you feel the love being sent your way and that it can help you through this difficult time.
