She is survived by her children, Mary Phelps (David) and Douglas Sleeman Jr. (Liz); grandchildren, Joshua Pratt, Amy Willette, and Brandi Sleeman; great-grandchildren, Levon, Cali, Colton, and Tike; brothers, Eddie Lyon (Robin), Bob Lyon, and Sonny Conover; best friend and "Dream Team Member", Lois Hermes; and many loving family members and close friends.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband, Captain Erv Sharp; brother, Richie Lyon; and sister, Judy Lyon.
A Celebration of Evelyn's Life will be held on at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Cotten Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors following the service.
