Frances Elizabeth Ipock

Frances S. Ipock, 78, of New Bern, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17th, 2020. A woman of faith, Frances loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing His love with others through song. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and loved giving more than receiving. Frances had a big heart and took great joy in being able to do for others. She was the glue that held her family together and enjoyed preparing big meals for them to gather around her table.

She is survived by her children, Andy Ipock (Gladys) and Lori Lee; son-in-law, Sherwood Caraway; brother, Rev. Henry Stephens (Alice); grandchildren, Jason Arthur (Trivia), Brandy Ipock, Ashleigh Grant (Willie), Bradley Ipock (Rachel), Annika Boahn (Jessica), Matthew Lee, Mylisa Colon, Amber Spain, and Lisa Caraway; and great grandchildren, Jeremy, Hailey, Jamie, Andy, Madeline, Bailey, Bentley, Mollie, Dakota, J.L., Erin, Jackson, Daniella, Mia, Blake and Emma.

Sadly, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dal Ipock and her daughter, Delphia Caraway.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 20th at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dwayne Boyd officiating. Burial will be at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
