

He is survived by his wife, Carol Jean Kleiner Fahringer, and his two daughters, Laura Leach (husband Brad) of Venus, TX and Lynda McGuire (husband Tommy) of Chico, TX. Grandsons, Vince Lessing, Christian and Ryan Leach and great grand-daughter Kenley Lessing all of TX. He is also survived by his brothers, Larry Fahringer (wife Nancy), Bob Fahringer (wife Pam), as well as several nieces and nephews.
Frank was born in New Jersey on February 6th, 1943 to Laurence Fahringer and Gloria Piperata Fahringer. Frank learned to play the accordion at a young age, and played professionally during and after college. He took acting classes in high school and even played some lead parts. Frank worked in advertising with a few radio stations in Delaware and Cincinnati. He went on to become the Regional Advertising Manager for Coors, which moved him to Texas. After retirement, he moved to North Carolina where Frank became involved in art classes. He worked with mediums including colored pencils and water colors. His best talent was in stained glass. This became his part-time occupation and his work was amazing. He was loved and respected by many, and was always the rock of the family.
The funeral mass will be held Wednesday, May 18th, at 1pm at St. Paul's Catholic Church. 3005 Country Club Road, New Bern, NC 28562.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be made to Wounded Warriors, Comboni Fathers, or St. Paul's Catholic School.
