Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Franklin and Thelma Jaques. Frank served his country during the Korean Conflict in the US Navy and spent 21 years with Civil Service at Cherry Point.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Norbury and Joyce Eubanks.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Pope Hines Jaques; 3 sisters, Audrey Whitford, and Ruth McGhee, both of New Bern and Betty Middlestetter of Brookville, Ohio.
Visitation will be at Cotten Funeral Home today from 6 – 8 PM. Funeral services will be Monday, June 6, at 2 PM at the funeral home, with Rev. Ray Conner officiating. Interment will be in the New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
