He was a farmer and entrepreneur in the community for the last many years. He was a loving father and thought the world of his grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife Nancy and sister Bunny McILwean.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am Monday December 12, 2022 at Beech Grove United Methodist Church with the service to follow at 11:00 am.
He is survived by his son, Kenney McILwean (Tracy); daughter, Tracey McILwean Barnicle (Paul), brothers, Earl McILwean and Ed McILwean, sister, ILa Gray McILwean; grandchildren, Emily Unwin, Sara Barnicle, Mary Barnicle, John Barnicle, Erica Tester, Andrew McILwean, Austin Tyner, Holden Tyner, Michala Proctor; great grandchildren, Benjamin Unwin, Luke Unwin, Jamie Unwin.
